Job description
Location: Ile Tun tun, Ibadan (Accommodation Available)
Salary: ₦80,000 – ₦150,000
Female; 30 – 45 years; HND/Bachelor’s degree in qualification; Minimum of 2 years proven experience managing a retail supermarket or similar establishment; Strong leadership & team management skills; Excellent organizational & multitasking abilities; Good knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, & stock taking; Proficiency in using POS systems & Microsoft Office Suite; Strong communication & customer service skills; Integrity, accountability, & attention to detail; Accommodation is available.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth daily activities
- Supervise, train, & motivate staff to deliver excellent service & meet performance targets
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, & supplier relationships to avoid stockouts
- Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, & visually appealing at all times
- Monitor & improve sales performance by analyzing data & customer feedback
- Handle customer complaints professionally & ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, & inventory using POS & stock management systems
- Enforce health, safety, & hygiene standards within the store
- Prepare daily & weekly performance reports for management
- Implement promotions & merchandising strategies to drive sales.
